Latino Graff Toulouse
The association
Latino Graff is a France-based association that originated from the collaboration between Guayabo Colectivo (France) and Cartel Urbano (Colombia). With the aim of promoting an intercontinental fusion of urban art, these partnerships facilitate numerous neo-muralist artists traveling between the two continents each year.
It is through these cultural and technical exchanges, and through the sharing of symbolism and color palettes, that new narratives are constructed.
Our actions
Exhibitions of Participating Artists
We are organizing an exhibition showcasing the works selected during the call for applications. This exhibition presents the author’s biography along with a QR code that links to their respective Instagram accounts, offering an in-depth perspective on their background and work.
Urban Murals
We selected three Latin American artists and three local French artists to form creative pairs tasked with creating murals. In 2024, we plan to decorate three tunnels with the works of these duos, under the theme “On the Other Side.”
Educational Workshops
We collaborate with schools and cultural centers interested in organizing meetings with Latin American artists. These sessions are designed so that the artists can share their techniques and experiences with French students, promoting cultural exchange and the value of learning Spanish to communicate with people who have similar interests.
Educational Workshops
We offer spaces for dialogue and creation, such as the “Beer and Draw” event or live painting sessions, where artists and the public of Toulouse come together over a beer to draw together for a few hours. We also include live painting performances on wooden supports in urban spaces in Toulouse.
